The Role

We’re looking for a reliable Rigid Truck Driver to join a busy distribution operation. This role involves home deliveries to residential customers, along with branch and inter-branch deliveries.

When not out on the road, you’ll assist within the branch – so a team-player attitude is essential.

Key Duties

• Home deliveries to customers (professional & courteous approach required)
• Call customers ahead of delivery to confirm arrival times
• Safe loading, transport & unloading of goods
• Branch and inter-branch deliveries
• Assist with warehouse/branch duties when not driving
• Daily vehicle checks & cleanliness
• Follow all road safety & H&S procedures

Requirements

• Full C (Rigid) Licence
• Valid CPC & Tachograph Card
• Previous delivery or customer-facing driving experience (preferred)
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual & safety-conscious
• Happy to support branch operations when required
