Excel Recruitment is now looking for a Rigid Drivers to join our well know client’s team in Naas
This position will give you the chance to develop skills and experience with a market leading brand along with a competitive salary and excellent benefits

Responsibilities:

• Safe, accurate and timely delivery of goods to stores throughout the island of Ireland.
• Carry out several daily checks including pre-departure vehicle checks and that your load is safe and secure.
• Unload your vehicle and complete a delivery de-brief.
• Chart out the appropriate route using maps or GPS
• Drive the truck to the destination in a safe manner and by following all traffic rules

Essential Skills:

• At least a year of driving experience in a similar multi drop role
• Previous experience in the food service industry desirable.
• Pleasant manner when delivering to customers.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and thorough execution.
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Valid CPC
• Holding a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and with a good geographic knowledge of the Irish road network

Benefits:

• The pay rate €22.81 per hour
• €36.98 DAILL2 tax free daily allowance
• Night work / 12hrs shifts
• 3-6 drops per night
• Overtime available
