The Role

Our client based in Waterford City is currently seeking experienced and reliable Rigid C Licence Drivers to join their team on a full-time contract for a minimum of 3 – 4 months. This role involves early morning starts, offering the benefit of earlier finishes throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
• Operating rigid vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects when necessary
• Ensuring accurate completion of delivery paperwork
• Loading and unloading goods where required
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures onsite and on the road

Requirements

• Full Clean Category C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC Card essential
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card essential
• Manual Handling Certificate required
• Previous multi-drop or delivery experience
• Strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Good communication and time management skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
