We are currently seeking a Retail Trainee Manager to join our client, a leading non-food retailer. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start a successful management career with an iconic retail chain and gain exposure in a busy store environment. Applicants must be flexible to work across Cork stores so a driving licence and car is preferable.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to display strong leadership and team development skills. As part of the store management team, you will be instrumental in achieving store KPIs, motivating and inspiring a team of sales assistants, and ensuring all customers receive the ultimate experience.
Responsibilities of this job include:
- Drive sales, service, and KPIs throughout the store
- Manage, motivate, and encourage a team of sales assistants
- Ensure excellent store standards are delivered at all times
- Drive promotions, bestsellers, and new arrivals
- Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented
- Communicate targets and goals with the team
Skills and experience required for this job:
- Previous retail supervisory/management experience in grocery, non-food, fashion, or similar
- Ambitious and eager to learn
- People management and leadership capabilities
- Track record of promoting superior customer service
- Strong KPI experience
- Excellent communication skills
Salary package:
- Up to 35K depending on experience
