Retail Department Manager – Newbridge Co Kildare

Our client, a leading multinational retail chain known for their premium quality in Fashion, Home & Grocery retail is seeking to recruit an experienced Department Manager for their Newbridge Co Kildare Store. Due to company restructure, and with the focus on people, this role is suited to a retail leader from high volume fashion or grocery retail with strong experience in people development, mentoring, motivating and succession planning.

• Responsible for both operational and people leadership activity within the store.
• Support the Store Manager in enhancing both operational and commercial performance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment.
• Raise performance through coaching and development.

Skills and Requirements for this job include the following:

• 3 years + in high volume fashion or grocery management experience
• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret sales data and drive performance.
• Ability to work effectively across departments such as Fashion, Home, and Food.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
