Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, the Restaurant Manager will serve a key function in the growing success of the Restaurant and the Hotel as a whole.

Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager job include:

  • To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Bar, Restaurant and Function Bar, ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are always maintained thus ensuring revenue is maximized.
  • The position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
  • Develops and implements hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand target customer and property associates.
  • To have an excellent knowledge of all revenue, budget, and all sales figures and to be an expert in food & beverage pricing.
  • consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring.
  • To assist in achieving annual awards and goals we set out to achieve.
  • To ensure game plan manuals are up to date, in use and regularly reviewed within Departments.
  • To assist in auditing department for service and quality and to assist in implementing strategies to improve results.
  • Plan and direct the day to day Restaurant and Bar operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, customer liaison, security and maintenance, stock control
  • Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in the department.

Requirements of the Restaurant Manager Job include:

  • Previous experience in a Restaurant/Hotel management role within Hospitality.
  • Excellent Leadership skills, motivating, engaging and developing the team
  • High standards, paying meticulous attention to detail.
  • An excellent focus on our customers.
  • Passionate about Food and Beverage offering, People and customer service focused
