Replenishment Buyer – Tortola | British Virgin Islands

Excel Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting for a Replenishment Buyer to join our client’s retail business in the British Virgin Islands. Salary: €60k – €80k

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily replenishment orders based on demand, supply lead times, and inventory levels
  • Monitor stock across warehouse and store locations, ensuring accurate and timely purchasing
  • Prevent excess inventory and close-dated stock through forecasting and inventory planning
  • Maintain and update database fields and reporting systems, flagging discrepancies as needed
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, warehouse, inventory, and receiving teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy
  • Ensure all invoices are matched with POs and manage any receiving discrepancies or claims
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support smooth product flow and service level targets
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and pursue ongoing self-development in purchasing best practices
  • Support promotional and regular sales forecasting to avoid over/under-ordering

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchasing or replenishment within a retail or FMCG environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills and fluent English
  • Highly proficient in computer systems, including inventory databases and reporting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and planning abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
  • Knowledge of retail warehouse operations and merchandising is highly desirable
