Excel Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Recruitment Resourcer to join our busy Cork office on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in developing a long-term career in recruitment. You will work closely with experienced recruitment consultants, supporting the delivery of temporary staffing requirements while building your knowledge of the full recruitment process.

For the right person, the role offers strong progression potential into a Recruitment Consultant position, with increased responsibility for candidate management, client relationships and desk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and screen suitable candidates for a range of vacancies
• Manage job advertising and candidate applications
• Conduct candidate registration and initial screening interviews
• Build and maintain an active candidate database and talent pipeline
• Complete reference checks and support candidate compliance requirements
• Regularly contact available candidates regarding upcoming opportunities
• Support consultants with urgent and high-volume recruitment requirements
• Maintain accurate candidate records and availability
• Develop a strong understanding of the Munster recruitment market
• Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident speaking with candidates by phone and in person
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy, target-driven office environment
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Good computer and administration skills
• Previous recruitment, sales, customer service or administration experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Ambition to develop and progress within the recruitment industry
