Licence Requirements: Category C, Valid CPC, Digital Tachograph Card

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Cork City. The role involves multi-drop deliveries to customers across the region, ensuring goods are transported safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

This is a customer-facing role that requires a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious driver with strong knowledge of transport compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily multi-drop deliveries within Cork City and surrounding areas.

• Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of goods.

• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain records in line with legal requirements.

• Comply with road transport legislation, tachograph, and CPC obligations.

• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

• Work closely with the transport office and follow scheduled routes and instructions.

• Report any vehicle defects, delays, or issues promptly.

Requirements

Essential:

• Full C Licence.

• Valid CPC Card and up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.

• Good knowledge of Cork City routes and regional roads.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends.

Desirable:

• Experience with refrigerated vehicles or specialised goods.

• Forklift licence (advantage).
