The successful candidate will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment in some of the best restaurants, hotels, events, and commercial and healthcare catering units

Kitchen Porter Requirements

• HACCP and Manual Handling training (Can be provided by Excel Recruitment)
• Valid work permit with documentation
• Strong communication skills
• Hardworking and punctual
• Flexible and works well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Receiving and storing food/equipment deliveries
• Assisting chefs with food preparation
• Ensuring the highest hygiene standards are maintained, including kitchen equipment, floors, presses, fridges, bins, etc
• Organising fridges, freezers, and storerooms.
• Keeping food preparation areas clean and sanitized
• Managing stock rotation
