Hotel Night Manager – Dublin North

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Hotel Night Manager for our client’s hotel in north county Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take responsibility for the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, staff supervision, and operational efficiency throughout the night.

Salary: €35k – €37k

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the hotel during overnight operations following the handover from the evening management team
• Manage front office duties, including guest arrivals, departures, and handling overnight guest enquiries
• Oversee the night team, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Coordinate conference and function room setups to meet the requirements of upcoming events
• Support food and beverage operations during overnight hours when required
• Carry out general porter and guest assistance duties as needed
• Ensure public areas and operational spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Conduct routine health & safety, fire safety, and security checks throughout the property
• Deliver excellent customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns or issues
• Prepare reports and communicate key operational updates to the daytime management team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Night Manager or similar supervisory role within a 3-star or 4-star hotel environment
• Previous experience using hotel front office or property management systems is desirable
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Good understanding of health & safety, fire safety, and security procedures within a hotel setting
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to supervise overnight teams effectively
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional when handling guest issues and operational challenges
• Flexible and reliable with the ability to work overnight shifts on a rota basis
• Occupational First Aid certification is advantageous but not essential
