Healthcare Assistant

Excel Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for our client near Westbury, centrally located on the outskirts of Limerick city. This is a brilliant opportunity for any healthcare assistant looking to gain invaluable experience within the healthcare field.

Responsibilities for this Healthcare Assistant:

• Deliver high standards of person-centred care
• Carry out assigned tasks as directed
• Take positive direction while working alone or as part of the team
• Support the staff in caring for patients
• Assisting patients with daily personal care

Requirements for this Healthcare Assistant:

• Currently reside in Ireland with a valid work visa (if required)
• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare
• Must be able to provide at least 2 written references
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, CPR, Patient Moving and Infection Control (completed within the last 18 months)
• Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards
