Healthcare Assistant

Excel Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for our client near Abbeyknockmoy. This is an excellent opportunity for any healthcare assistant who is looking for a new and exciting role.

This client is a family-run nursing home dedicated to delivering the highest standard of person-centred care. With a focus on offering a home away from home experience for their residents while also ensuring a safe and professional standard of care is provided at all times. You will be part of a highly skilled team of healthcare assistants and nurses delivering care to the residents of the facility. Responsibilities for this Healthcare Assistant:

• Provide personal, emotional, and practical care to residents
• Encourage independence and advocate on behalf of residents
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team
• Adhere to all Policies and Procedures within the nursing home

Requirements:

• Full QQI in healthcare required or to be currently completing it
• Caring and empathetic in nature
• Experience in the healthcare field is an advantage
