Head Chef – Belfast City Centre

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen in one of Belfast city centre’s well-established and busy bar restaurants.

This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a respected venue known for its fantastic local, modern European cuisine, strong reputation, and loyal customer base. You’ll be working alongside a small, skilled team of experienced chefs in a fast-paced but supportive environment where quality food and consistency are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will:

• Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team

• Drive high standards of food quality and presentation

• Develop seasonal menus using fresh local produce

• Manage kitchen operations, stock control, and GP targets

• Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards

• Work closely with management to continue growing the venue’s reputation

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Passion for modern European cuisine and locally sourced ingredients

• Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume service environment

• Calm under pressure with a hands-on approach

• Strong knowledge of HACCP and kitchen management
