General Manager

Excel Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced General Manager for our client in Dublin City Centre. Our client is a highly-successful, multi award winning retailer with multiple supermarket stores and they are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role will need to have strong management skills gained from a Grocery Retail Environment. They will also need excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop with one of Irleands up and coming retail groups.

A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate- €45 – €50k DOE

Responsibilities for this Store Manager role:

• Achieving KPIs and targets outlined by senior management
• Liaising with department managers to ensure the highest store standards and sales across the entire store
• Training, mentoring and developing staff members
• Finding innovative ways to maximise sales and minimise costs in store
• The overall day to day running of a busy supermarket store
• Overseeing the merchandising and promotional changeovers in store
• Stock control and cash management procedures
