Working Hours

Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th June, 8:00 AM to 4:30pm

Pay Rate : €13.75 per hour

Job Purpose:

To carry out general maintenance duties, including painting, grass cutting, and other related tasks to ensure the school environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general painting of internal and external surfaces as required.

  • Cut grass, maintain school grounds, and ensure outdoor areas are kept tidy.

  • Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks on school property.

  • Move furniture or equipment as needed for school activities or maintenance work.

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

  • Monitor and report any defects, damages, or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager or Principal.

  • Assist with any other maintenance or janitorial tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate.

  • Previous experience in general maintenance, painting, or groundskeeping.

  • Ability to carry out physically demanding work.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment.
