Fashion Department Manager – Dublin

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fashion Department Manager to join a leading high-volume retail business in Dublin. We have openings in Dublin City and Dundrum South Dublin

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong fashion retailer who loves product, people and commercial performance. You will take ownership of a busy fashion department, leading a large team and driving sales, service, visual standards and profitability.

We are particularly keen to hear from managers currently working within department stores, high-volume fashion, flagship stores or leading high street fashion brands who are ready for their next career move.

You will be highly visible on the shop floor, commercially focused and passionate about developing people. For an ambitious fashion manager, this role offers excellent structure, investment in development and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

• Take ownership of the commercial performance of a busy fashion department
• Lead, coach and develop a large, high-performing team
• Drive sales, productivity and KPIs through strong commercial leadership
• Use trading information to identify opportunities and maximise performance
• Deliver exceptional customer service and a strong shop-floor experience
• Maintain excellent visual, product and merchandising standards
• Develop talent and create a strong succession pipeline
• Work closely with the wider management team to deliver store objectives

About You

• 3+ years’ management experience within fashion or high-volume retail
• Experience managing a significant department, store or large retail team
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering sales and KPIs
• Passionate about fashion, product and visual standards
• Strong people manager who can coach, motivate and develop teams
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
