Duty Manager
Retail Duty Manager – Blanchardstown
Our client, an Irish retail leader, is seeking a proactive and driven Duty Manager to join their thriving Blanchardstown store. With a strong presence across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, this retailer is renowned for its innovation, career development, and dynamic work environment.
As Duty Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the leadership team, working alongside the Store Manager to ensure the store operates seamlessly on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will span everything from managing floor operations and driving sales to motivating department leads and coaching team members to deliver top-notch customer experiences.
Responsibilities of this Duty Manager includes:
- Drive store sales by consistently delivering, maximising, and exceeding sales targets.
- Ensure continuous product availability and optimal stock presentation on the shop floor.
- Develop the team’s comprehensive product knowledge across all departments to enhance customer engagement.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, visual merchandising, and effective space planning.
- Support operational excellence through effective staffing, daily task management, team training, and performance reviews.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Demonstrated success in a management role within a busy, high-volume retail environment-ideally gained in Big Box, grocery, or non-food sectors.
- Proven ability to inspire and develop a large team (30+)
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, enabling effective operation in fast-paced retail settings.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on interpreting sales data and using insights to inform key decisions.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Salary package:
- Salary package of €35k – €40k, DOE
- Maternity / Paternity payments
