Duty Manager – Stillorgan

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager for a busy, high-quality food retail store in Stillorgan, Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong retail supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys being hands-on, leading a team and maintaining excellent standards across customer service, fresh food and store operations.

Salary: €35,000-€42,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead and motivate the team throughout daily shifts
• Delegate tasks and ensure strong standards are maintained
• Manage store opening and closing procedures
• Oversee stock levels, replenishment and merchandising
• Ensure excellent standards across fresh food and store presentation
• Support staff training and development
• Deal with customer queries and complaints
• Monitor cash-handling procedures and operational controls

Key Requirements:

• Previous Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor experience
• Grocery, convenience or premium food retail experience would be an advantage
• Strong people-management and communication skills
• Confident leading a team in a busy retail environment
• Excellent customer-service standards
• Strong merchandising and operational skills
• Hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front
