Deputy Retail Manager – Ballymount

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and customer-focused retail professional to join a successful and growing retail business as Deputy Retail Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with the Store Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy retail operation, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong commercial performance and high operational standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the business
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing retail team
• Drive exceptional customer service standards throughout the store
• Support the achievement of sales, margin and profitability targets
• Ensure excellent standards of merchandising, presentation and store appearance
• Manage stock control, replenishment and inventory processes
• Monitor and improve store KPI performance
• Support recruitment, training and onboarding of new team members
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety and operational standards
• Act as Store Manager in their absence

About You:

• Previous experience in a retail management, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Commercially aware with a passion for delivering results
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience managing teams within a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ambitious and eager to progress within retail management
