Our client, a leading international retail chain renowned for quality across food, home and lifestyle, is seeking to recruit an experienced Department Manager for their Grocery department in their store in Dundrum.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a people-focused retail leader from a high-volume environment, with strong experience in team development, coaching, motivation and succession planning. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to drive performance through an engaged team while delivering exceptional operational standards and customer experience.
Previous grocery or food retail management experience is essential for this role.

- Support the Store Manager in delivering commercial success by identifying opportunities to improve sales, productivity, customer experience and operational performance.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive and high-performance culture that encourages collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Champion exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer receives a first-class shopping experience while maintaining the highest standards across the department.
Skills & Requirements for this Department Manager job include:
- 3+ years’ management experience within a high-volume grocery or retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse KPIs, identify opportunities and drive sales and profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience managing multiple departments or product categories, including Foodhall, Fashion and Home, is highly desirable.
