Department Manager – North Dublin

Excel Recruitment is excited to announce we are seeking a Department Manager for our client an award-winning grocery retailer located in North Dublin.

Salary: €40k – €45k

The ideal candidate for this Department Manager position would be for an experienced Trainee Manager or Duty Manager coming from a fast-paced environment who wants to progress into a senior management role within a large operation.

Responsibilities:

• Striving for the highest possible growth in sales and performance
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve and grow your department
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order on the shop floor at all times
• Delegating and prioritising tasks
• Supporting senior staff members to ensure the smooth running of the store
• Managing the rosters on the shop floor

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a role of responsibility within grocery retail
• Must be able to multitask, problem-solve and delegate
• Must have superb communication skills and an eye for detail
• Must be a confident and ambitious individual who is adept at motivating and leading a team of staff
