Department Manager

Our client, one of the most successful fashion and home retail chains is seeking to recruit experienced fashion managers to join their team in Dublin.

Responsibilities for this role:

• Understand sales targets, plan, and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales targets and customer engagement.
• To deliver the budgeted KPI plan for the department and any relevant targets.
• Maximising sales through analysing sales data, stock availability, department trading patterns and customers’ needs and demands.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all store processes.
• Provide service and a shopping experience that meets the needs of the customer.
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising is delivered and in accordance with company expectations.
• Liaise closely with head office, buyers on best sellers, space allocation and product availability.

Requirements for this role:

• 3+ years retail management experience within fashion or similar retail.
• People leadership experience are essential.
• Ambitious and energetic individual with a passion for a career in retail.
• Sales and KPI driven.
• Visual merchandising experience.
• Commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge.
• Full driver’s license.
