Daytime Chef

Excel Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Chef for various locations in Dublin and the surrounding areas. Temporary ongoing work with daytime and flexible hours will allow you to acquire a desirable work-life balance.

The successful candidate will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment while working in some of the best restaurants, hotels, events, and commercial and healthcare catering units

Chef Requirements

  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP requirements
  • Valid work permit with documentation
  • Hard working and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • A passionate and creative personality

Chef Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the highest level of food and service is delivered to clients and customers
  • Stock control and rotation and monitoring temperature records
  • Ordering of stock
  • Ensuring the highest hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen
  • Prepare food to a high standard and follow dietary requirements
  • Control cost and minimise waste
  • Creating menu items and developing dishes
