Responsibilities of a Cleaning Operative

• Carrying out cleaning and sanitising duties to a high standard
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
• Managing waste disposal and recycling efficiently
• Ensuring washrooms are cleaned, sanitised, and fully stocked
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors

Requirements of a Cleaning Operative

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential
• Access to your own transport is highly desirable due to varied locations
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Valid Manual Handling certification is required
