Job Title: Temporary Cleaning Operative

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a temporary basis in a commercial building in Killarney. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas, including offices, corridors, and staff facilities
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
• Sanitising high-touch areas (e.g. door handles, desks, bathrooms)
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with site procedures
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes
• Following health & safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or similar environment is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good reliability and attendance record
• Flexibility to cover additional hours if required
