Chef de Partie – No Evenings

Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join a busy café/restaurant operation in the heart of Belfast City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known, island-wide hospitality brand offering an excellent work-life balance, daytime hours, and the chance to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be part of a small but energetic kitchen team producing fresh, vibrant food throughout the day. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and service.

• Daytime hours only – typically 8am to 5pm

• No late nights

• 5 days out of 7 rota

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard

• Maintain consistency and presentation across all dishes

• Work efficiently during busy service periods

• Support kitchen hygiene and HACCP procedures

• Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation

• Work collaboratively within a small kitchen team

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up

• Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Reliable, organised, and enthusiastic attitude
