Excel Recruitment are seeking a skilled and dependable Relief Chef to support our contract catering clients across Limerick.

About the Role
As a Relief Chef, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our client kitchens continue to operate smoothly by providing cover across a range of locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Covering chef absences due to sickness and annual leave
- Supporting newly opened catering sites during their launch phase
- Assisting kitchens during busy periods or when additional staffing is required
- Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality meals to company standards
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices
- Working closely with site teams to ensure a seamless service
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience as a Chef in contract catering or a busy commercial kitchen
- The ability to adapt quickly to different teams and kitchen environments
- A positive, reliable, and professional approach
- Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
- Flexibility to travel to various client sites throughout Limerick
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport is an advantage
