Chef Opportunities – Waterford Region
Looking for great Chef rates without giving up your work-life balance?
Excel Recruitment is looking for experienced Chefs to join our team across Waterford City and the wider Waterford region. With predominantly midweek day shifts plus flexible weekday and weekend cover, you can choose opportunities that work around your availability.
Pay: €18-€22 per hour (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays)

What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare and cook quality food in line with kitchen standards
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene procedures
- Support kitchen teams during busy service periods
- Manage food preparation, stock rotation and cleanliness
- Adapt confidently to different menus and kitchen environments
What we’re looking for:
- 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Contract catering experience is an advantage
- Valid Manual Handling and HACCP certificates (training available)
- A flexible, reliable approach to work
