Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a rigid truck to transport goods to various locations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
* Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and loading/unloading.
* Manage paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks, accurately and efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
* Report any incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to management.
Requirements:
* Valid Rigid Truck Driving License (Category C or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a rigid driver, with a strong safety record.
* Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Ability to handle physical demands, including loading/unloading goods when required.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and occasionally long hours as needed.
