Catering Assistant – Clonmel

We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant for a temporary role in Clonmel. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team, takes pride in good customer service, and can maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, service, and general catering duties
• Serve meals and refreshments in a friendly and professional manner
• Keep kitchen, dining, and service areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Follow all food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety procedures
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, or service users

Requirements

• Previous catering, hospitality, or food service experience is an advantage
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
• HACCP and Manual Handling certification required or willingness to complete training
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
• Availability for temporary shifts in Clonmel
