Café Floor Supervisor – East Cork

I am recruiting for an experienced Café Floor Supervisor to join a well‑established, daytime‑focused café operation in East Cork The role is hands‑on and customer‑focused, ideal for someone who enjoys leading the front‑of‑house team and ensuring smooth daily service. You will be joining a supportive and structured working environment with a strong emphasis on delivering high‑quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead, motivate, and support the café floor team throughout the shift.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and manage guest queries professionally.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and management teams to maintain seamless service flow.
• Uphold a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing skills development.
• Support with staff scheduling, stock control, and general operational planning.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Take a hands‑on approach during busy periods, supporting the team on the floor.

Requirements

• Previous café or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform well during busy service periods.
• Organised, reliable, and detail‑oriented approach to daily tasks.
• Flexibility to work 5 days over 7.
