Bus Driver

We are seeking motivated individuals with experience in driving-based roles (such as multi-drop delivery or logistics) who are now looking for a stable, permanent position as a Bus Driver. This opportunity offers a transition from labour-intensive, physically demanding work into a professional, customer-facing role focused on passenger safety, comfort, and reliable service.
As a Bus Driver, you will be the sole driver responsible for the safe operation of passenger vehicles along designated routes, providing a high-quality public transport service to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate buses on scheduled routes, ensuring timely and reliable service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, including assisting with boarding when required.
  • Handle cash, ticketing systems, or electronic payment devices accurately and responsibly.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or incidents in line with company policy.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with control staff, colleagues, and passengers.
  • Represent the company as a professional and courteous public service ambassador.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
  • Full UK driving licence (Category D or willingness to obtain through company training).
  • Strong focus on safety and responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible with working hours (including weekends and shifts).
Desirable:
  • Previous experience as a professional driver (multi-drop, logistics, taxi, courier, etc.).
  • Knowledge of local routes and geography.
  • Previous customer-facing role experience.
