Baker – Supermarket – Co. Wexford

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Baker for our client’s supermarket in Co. Wexford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate bakery professional to join an established retail operation, preparing and producing a diverse selection of fresh breads and baked goods while ensuring consistently high standards of quality, freshness, and product presentation.

Salary: €35k – €40k

Responsibilities:

• Produce and bake an extensive range of fresh breads, pastries, and other bakery products while maintaining excellent quality standards
• Oversee daily bakery production processes, including mixing, dough preparation, proving, shaping, and baking to deliver fresh, high-quality products
• Adhere to established recipes and production plans, ensuring consistency in product quality, flavour, appearance, and availability throughout the day
• Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor ingredient usage, support ordering processes, and minimise unnecessary waste and production expenses
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements while ensuring a clean and organised bakery environment
• Collaborate with store management and fresh food colleagues to ensure efficient bakery operations and contribute to improving the overall bakery range

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Baker with a recognised bakery qualification essential
