Assistant Manager – Fashion Maynooth

Our client, a leading UK Multinational Retail fashion chain is seeking to recruit an ambitious and fashion forward Assistant Manager for their Store in Maynooth Co Kildare. With the opening of new stores and the introduction of new fashion and sports brands this is a great time to join our successful client. This role is suited to a people leader from a fast-paced retail setting in Fashion, Sports or Grocery looking to join an industry where opportunities and career progression are available.

Reporting to the store manager, you will lead, coach and develop your team to drive sales through delivering 5* customer service

Skills and experience required for this job:

• 2-3 years of high-volume retail management experience
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Strong communication skills
• Track record in achieving sales targets
• Strong visual merchandising experience
• Commercial and ambitious with a passion for furthering your retail management career

Responsibilities of this job include:

• Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store alongside your management team
• Lead, motivate, and encourage your team to deliver on sales KPI’s
• Ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge is delivered at all times
• Ensure the store is visually merchandised and commercial at all times
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
• Analyse sales trading reports and react accordingly with corrective action
• Maintain store staffing levels by recruiting, selecting, and training employees
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
