Excel Recruitment are looking for an Assistant Convenience Manager for our client located Kildare.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an extremely successful grocery retailer, who are a household name .This job would suit an Assistant Store Manager with a passion for coaching and training teams, and a keen commercial focus. This job would also suit a Duty Manager or Trainee Manager who wants to progress their career in grocery retail.

To be our client’s new Assistant Manager, you will be a proactive manager with experience in grocery retail and a strong track record in driving profits and sales targets. Our client has a reputation for exceptional customer service and premium quality retail offerings, and they are looking for the right candidate to share and promote these values.

Who you are as an Assistant Store Manager:

• Target-driven with a drive to surpass sales targets and KPIs
• Passionate about retail and customer service
• An excellent communicator with a flexible approach
• A proven track record in leading and motivating a team of staff members
• A dynamic individual with previous experience in the grocery retail industry

Your responsibilities as Assistant Manager will include:

• Achieving sales targets and KPIs, maximising profits and controlling costs
• Adhering to Health and Safety, HACCP and other legal requirements
• All aspects of stock management: stocktaking, ordering, rotation
• Assisting the Manager in driving sales and standards in-store
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the premises
• Regularly liaising with staff, management, head office and suppliers
