Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Hospitality Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of high-volume catering and hospitality services, based in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to progress their career in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day hospitality and event operations
- Supervise staff and allocate duties effectively
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and weekly stocktakes
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation
- Handle customer queries and ensure excellent service delivery
- Support event coordination and client relationship management
- Balance tills and manage daily cash procedures
- Ensure equipment is maintained and health & safety standards are met
- Assist in training and developing team members
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality/catering management
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on, flexible approach (including evenings/weekends)
- Full clean EU driving licence (essential)
- Valid work permit for Ireland
