Area Manager – Fashion

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Manager to join a retailer renowned for their premium home and fashion products. This role will involve driving business success nationwide but with a focus on their stores in the Connacht region. The Area Manager will lead and motivate store teams to deliver exceptional service, boost customer engagement, and drive sales, while collaborating closely with the marketing, buying, and retail departments to develop growth strategies.

Ideally, this role would suit someone living in the region of Galway, Sligo, Mayo, or Roscommon. We are seeking a strong leader with proven senior management or area management experience in the fashion, home, or interiors sectors. A passion for exceptional service, deep product knowledge, and a track record of motivating teams is essential.

Duties of this Area Manager role include:

• Overseeing and shaping the development and implementation of retail strategies
• Working closely with the marketing, buying, and retail teams to align initiatives and ensure commercial success.
• Leading and managing store teams, driving performance, fostering development, and providing coaching to consistently deliver on sales targets.
• Analysing sales reports and identifying marketing opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Managing budgets and overseeing P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
• Championing service excellence, ensuring a premium customer experience and driving sales growth.

Skills and experience required of the Area Manager Role:

• 5+ years of senior management or area management experience within the fashion, home, or interiors sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to identify market opportunities.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing retail teams to achieve results.
• Flexibility to travel as required; a full driver’s license and access to a car are essential.
