At Excel Recruitment, we are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager.

Based with our client in Dublin 12, this role is focused on driving cash collection performance, minimising aged debt, resolving customer issues efficiently, and ensuring robust AR processes are maintained. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop an Accounts Receivable team of 8.
• Manage the Accounts Receivable ledger and credit control activities across the group.
• Drive cash collection performance and reduce overdue and aged debt.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and deliver improvements in performance.
• Oversee reconciliations, payment allocations and month-end reporting.
• Handle complex customer disputes, escalations and high-risk accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Produce regular reports and insights on AR performance and cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
• Support business integrations and the implementation of new procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and best practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or similar finance role.
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, credit management and debt recovery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and delivering results.
