A well‑established and growing organisation based in Dublin City Centre (Dublin 2/4 area) is currently seeking a Finance & Accounts Administrator to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail‑focused finance professional who enjoys a varied role supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations while working closely with senior stakeholders in a professional and collaborative environment. The role offers strong exposure across finance and would suit someone looking to build long‑term experience within a stable business.
Role Overview
This position supports the finance function across transactional accounting, administration and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, smooth processing of accounts and effective communication across the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Processing purchase invoices and matching to POs
* Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control
* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Posting journals and maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting with month‑end close and reporting
* Supporting VAT returns and Revenue compliance
* Maintaining finance documentation and audit trails
* Providing general administrative support to the finance team
* Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
Requirements and Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in an SME or fast‑paced environment is desirable
