Excel Recruitment is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for our client who specialises in the retail and product distribution industry. This role is responsible for coordinating product setup, managing supplier and factory relationships, overseeing import processes, and ensuring stock is accurately received and maintained within company systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design teams to ensure product information is accurate and complete.
• Set up new products on internal systems, including bar codes, tariff codes, weights, and dimensions.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Communicate with factories regarding production and delivery schedules.
• Organise freight and shipping arrangements.
• Coordinate customs clearance processes for imported goods.
• Manage stock receiving activities and assist with stock valuation procedures.
• Work closely with customer service teams to support product availability and order requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across company systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement, logistics, imports, or operations role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience working with purchase orders and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of freight, shipping, customs, or import procedures is desirable.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when managing product data.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or stock management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
