Career Coach – Recruitment & Employer Engagement

We are looking for a Career Coach with a strong recruitment background to support skilled and professional candidates in securing their next career opportunity.

This role would suit an experienced recruiter who has worked across a variety of sectors and job disciplines, understands the challenges of today’s employment market and knows what it takes to successfully match talented people with the right employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with skilled and professional candidates from a diverse range of sectors and backgrounds.
• Understand candidates’ experience, transferable skills and career aspirations.
• Provide practical career and recruitment advice, including CV guidance, job-search strategy, interview preparation and market insights.
• Help candidates identify realistic and suitable career opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with employers, recruitment businesses and other industry contacts.
• Understand employer recruitment needs and identify suitable opportunities for candidates.
• Use your knowledge of the employment market to identify emerging opportunities and skills requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive and sustainable employment outcomes.
• Manage a busy caseload while delivering against agreed targets and objectives.

About You

We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced Recruitment Consultants who have recruited across a variety of skilled or professional sectors.

You will ideally have:

• 3+ years’ experience within business recruitment, agency recruitment from various diciplines or executive search in Ireland
• Experience recruiting across multiple sectors, disciplines or job categories.
• Strong candidate management and interviewing skills.
• Proven experience developing and managing employer/client relationships.
• A strong understanding of recruitment processes and the wider labour market.
• The ability to recognise transferable skills and identify suitable career opportunities.
• Excellent coaching, questioning and listening skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building ability.
• Experience working within a target-driven environment.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM/recruitment systems.

Package

• Salary: €40,000 – €50,000
• 25 days holidays
• Pension
• Monday – Friday
• Remote / Hybrid | Full-time – flexible to travel to various branches across Leinster and Connacht
