Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants for agency positions throughout Donegal. Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities and personal care needs.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in creating a safe, comfortable and positive environment for service users.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all care plans and policies.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting in Ireland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and currently residing in the country.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.

Mandatory Certifications

The following training certificates must be in date:

• Patient Manual Handling
• CPR / Basic Life Support
• HACCP Level 2

If any certifications need updating, our team can assist you with the process.
