Retail Department Manager – Athlone

As part of this exciting transformation, they’re looking for a Department Manager who can lead from the front, inspire teams, and deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and mentorship
• Create an exceptional customer experience by acting quickly on feedback
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
• Ensure the department operates safely, legally, and efficiently at all times
• Support Team Leaders and Sales Advisors to deliver seamless day-to-day operations
• Drive execution of in-store launches, campaigns, and key trading events
• Manage performance, probation reviews, and absence processes

What we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
• Open to candidates from fashion, grocery, or non-food retail backgrounds
• A hands-on leader who leads by example and brings energy to the shop floor
• Strong commercial awareness with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
