Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper – 4 Day Week (Full‑Time Hours)
Are you an experienced Accounts Technician or Bookkeeper looking for a role that offers variety, stability and genuine work‑life balance? The Role Overview
Reporting directly to senior management, this position offers exposure across accounts, payroll and VAT within a busy and collaborative practice environment. The successful candidate will be involved in the day‑to‑day financial operations of the firm, working closely with colleagues and clients while building long‑term stability and technical expertise.

Salary & Benefits
* Salary €38,000 – €40,000 depending on experience

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
* Processing debtor and creditor invoices
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Reconciliation of supplier, customer and control accounts
* VAT return preparation and submission
* Payroll processing using Brightpay
* Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting systems
* General office and administrative support as required
Requirements & Desirable Experience
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
* Accounting Technician (ATI) qualification or similar is desirable
* Strong experience across AP, AR, payroll and VAT preparation
* Experience using Sage Accounts and Brightpay is advantageous
* High level of attention to detail with the ability to work on own initiative
* Strong organisational and communication skills
