Catering Assistant – Waterford

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Catering Assistant to join a busy catering environment in Waterford. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and proven experience operating tills in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate the till and process cash and card transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness across service, kitchen, and dining areas
• Support the catering team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or food service role
• Till experience is essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Good understanding of food hygiene standards
• HACCP certification required (training can be arranged)
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
