Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy care to adults attending the Outpatients Centre in Longford.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of service users presenting with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, with the goal of improving function, reducing pain, and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed MSK physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for adult patients.
  • Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Keep thorough, CORU-compliant records and contribute to service evaluation and improvement projects.
  • Support patients with rehabilitation, pain management, injury prevention, and long-term self-management strategies.

Requirements:

  • BSc (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
  • CORU registration (or eligibility).
  • Minimum 1 year of post-graduate experience, ideally with MSK or outpatient experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an outpatient setting.
