Head Chef – Kildare – €50,000 to €60,000 DOE

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a talented and experienced Head Chef for our client’s busy and thriving kitchen in the Kildare area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to lead a dedicated team and deliver high-quality food to a loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, service, and presentation

• Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to ensure high standards are consistently achieved

• Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times

• Control stock levels, ordering, and kitchen costs to ensure profitability

• Work closely with senior management to design creative, seasonal menus that meet customer expectations

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Head Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role

• Culinary qualification or relevant chef training

• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a high-performing kitchen team

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment

• A genuine passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional dining experiences

• Full understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations
