General Operative

14.00 per hourly Industrial and Warehouse Dublin South

Excel Recruitment are looking for multiple Production Operatives to join a growing team for a prominent blinds company in South Dublin. Some production experience would be good. Duties will include a QC role, Blind Production, and Blind packing. Some lifting involved.

Responsibilities

  • Production and Alteration of Blinds
  • Picking, Processing, and packing orders
  • Checking inbound and outbound goods
  • General warehouse duties, restocking shelves, cleaning, and tidying
  • Flexibility to undertake other duties as directed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a production environment preferable
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures

Day-to-day

  • Selecting and preparing products for shipment
  • Operating warehouse equipment safely
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals
  • Cleaning and organizing the warehouse space
  • Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations

Immediate start for 6 months (End of November) with a possible chance of a permanent position if current business order levels are maintained, for the right candidates. Parking available but no canteen on site.

Shift time

  • 8am – 5pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Possible overtime
