Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist/Administrator

Excel Recruitment is working with a friendly, family-run quantity surveying business based on Mallow Road, Cork. With over 20 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves on delivering expert cost consultancy services with a personal touch. We are now looking for a warm, organised, and reliable Part-Time Receptionist/Administrator to join our small, close-knit team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and managing front desk reception duties

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and email correspondence

  • Filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate client records

  • Diary management and booking appointments for surveyors

  • Assisting with preparation of reports and documents

  • Basic bookkeeping support (e.g., invoice tracking, receipts)

  • Ordering office supplies and liaising with service providers

  • General office duties to support the smooth running of the business


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred

  • Excellent telephone and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • A friendly, professional, and positive attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

  • Trustworthy and discreet, especially when handling confidential information


Desirable:

  • Experience working in a small business or construction/engineering environment

  • Knowledge of basic accounts or invoicing software
